By pairing grayscale lunar textures with subtle green undertones, the design evokes a sense of calm curiosity — a nod to the quiet stillness of space while maintaining editorial sophistication.

Deliverables

Deliverables included a full magazine layout system with modular grids, typographic hierarchy, and data-driven spreads. The project also explored tablet and digital viewing mockups to showcase flexibility across print and digital mediums.

Key sections — such as Gateway to the Solar System, The Dusty Lunar Surface, and Moonquakes & the Moon’s Interior — demonstrate how visual storytelling can make scientific topics more engaging and digestible.

The final design captures both the mystery and clarity of lunar study, presenting science not as static information but as a living, visual experience.
